Yaroslav O. Halchenko
Organizer 2024 Organizer 2025Yaroslav O. Halchenko is a Research Professor in Psychological & Brain Sciences and Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at Dartmouth College (where the first BASIC program ran; and BASIC was his first programming language). He is the founding Director of the Center for Open Neuroscience, driving open-science, reproducible neuroimaging and neuroinformatics via projects like DataLad, NeuroDebian, DANDI, and others. He believes in finding common language between people and computers, so also contributes his time to data standards like BIDS, NWB, HED and others.
